The Foundation Mission Since September 1998 in Boston, Massachusetts, my wife Roberta Jeanette Davis died from complications caused by diabetes which lead to kidney failure and after years of dialysis treatment, she succumbed after several amputations.
This happened long before I moved back to my hometown of Montgomery, AL where through the grace of God I found some of the purest spring water 516 feet below the earth’s surface in a small rural town called Autaugaville, AL. with a population about 1099 residents.
I then built a state of the art water bottling factory in 2003. Heavy on my mind was and still is the extreme suffering which my wife Roberta went through. I particularly remembered her pleading for water, however she was repeatedly denied, because dialysis patients cannot elimate liquids and is ONLY given ice shavings.
It is ironic that my two children Clifford H. Davis 111 and Susan E. Davis Smith have discussed how to set-up a foundation in Memory of their mother, and in fact we have been donating FREE WATER to people afflicted with diabetes for years.
It seems that every where I go I cannot get away from people who need my services, “help to people who need pure water.” I am therefore bound to do everything that I can for people who are afflicted with the diabetes disease.
I now live in the south east section of the United States, Alabama, which have been named one of the states which has the highest number of people having this dreaded disease, Alabama has been named the state that has potentially the most obeast number of people and with my gift from God, “pure water”, it must be my duty, to provide all of the help that I can, and I pray that my Foundation, The Autauga Water Foundation will succeed.
